Take Dave Capello, who got his first taste of it back in 1995. That’s when, as an 8-year-old, he watched the Toms River East Little League team make it to the World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. TOMS RIVER – The Board of Education will host a public hearing on the controversial sex education curriculum on August 15 at 6 p.m. at Toms River High School North.
The meeting will also be live streamed. Additionally, a Google form will be on the district’s website, no less than a week in advance, through which residents can ask questions and give feedback.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill American Little League 12U softball team is one of the four best teams in New Jersey, the league’s president told Patch.
That’s because the team — all aged 12 years and younger, by the way — won the 2022 Little League District 13 champions and recently won the 2022 Little League New Jersey Section 4 tournament, President Jason Tibbetts told Patch.

Maybe it’s just anecdotal. Maybe it’s just the people I’ve come across. But when a lottery jackpot gets big I often hear people say, “No one from New Jersey ever wins.”
They’ll say it’s always someone from Texas or Florida or wherever.
