TOMS RIVER — The school board will seek proposals from consultants to help with the ongoing search for a permanent Toms River Regional superintendent.
The board’s move is the latest in the now one-year-long search for a new school leader, after former Superintendent David M. Healy retired Dec. 31.
Superintendent Stephen Genco is Toms River Regional’s second straight interim superintendent; he follows Thomas Gialanella, who served as interim superintendent from January to Aug. 1.
