TOMS RIVER: Despite the rain and floods- the Annual Toms River Halloween Parade went off Saturday night as scheduled! The parade is a long-standing tradition here in Ocean County, and recently was only cancelled for Hurricane Sandy & Covid. This year it was time to get back into it- with a solid showing of attendees.
While the parade is a huge success and draw for the downtown area, the tradition of “moving” trick or treat is getting kind of annoying and confusing for locals- unless it falls on a Sunday.
