Every day I go to Wawa in Toms River near St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Hooper Avenue. Wawa is located between Terrace Avenue and Rt. 37 in Toms River.

TOMS RIVER – At least one dog was a casualty of a fire that destroyed a home on Monroe Avenue.

Around 6:45 a.m. on February 28, fire companies from around the area converged on the home which was fully engulfed in flames, officials said.

Holiday City residents can meet with Toms River officials about property tax jump

TOMS RIVER – A town hall meeting March 4 will connect Holiday City Silverton residents with township professionals who can answer questions about the recently completed property revaluation.

Mayor Maurice B. “Mo” Hill Jr. said the meeting is set for 9 a.m. to noon at the township’s Senior Center, 652 Garfield Ave. Tax Collector Carl DiLeo and Assessor William Laird will be on hand to answer residents’ questions.
