Work Continues On Future Service Station at Fischer and Route 37 in Toms River, NJ

This past week I was driving down Route 37 heading west in the area of Fischer Blvd when I noticed that the former Shell service station on the corner of 37 and Fischer was seeing more continued work and crews do this and that to the site.

It obviously leaves us wondering are we getting closer to the new service station being opened here in Ocean County?

Donation Will Help Military Families In Need

TOMS RIVER – An organization dedicated to feed veterans and members of their family received a nice donation through a special event recently.

Dine on Us is a 501(c)3 organization on a mission to provide off base dining and entertainment opportunities “for our NJ Joint Base active military families who are not able to do so for themselves due to economic hardships,” organization founder and president Cliff Baker said.

Baseball Team that Plays in Honor of Fallen Troopers Presents Special Gift to Family Member of Trooper Werner Foerster

On May 22, the Blue Knights Little League Baseball team presented Josie Manfre-Morey, niece of Trooper Werner Foerster, with a signed baseball from the team prior to their game against the North Wall Little League in Wall, N.J. The Blue Knights are from Toms River and each player honors the State Police by wearing on their uniform, the badge number of a trooper killed in the line of duty.
