Freshpet is announcing a voluntary recall of a single lot of Freshpet Select Fresh From The Kitchen Home Cooked Chicken Recipe, due to potential contamination with salmonella.

The affected products include the 4.5-pound bag with a sell-by date of Oct. 29, 2022. The bags were sold at Target and Walmart stores in several states, including New Jersey.

Wary of ‘unruly’ youth, Toms River, NJ brings back summer curfew

in Toms River News

TOMS RIVER — Saying its decision was prompted by resident complaints, this Ocean County township has instituted a summer curfew for the third consecutive year.

A release on the Toms River Township website Wednesday indicated that the start of the curfew would be pushed back an hour from 2021, from 10 p.m. last year to 11 p.m. for this summer, just as the 2021 curfew had been advanced one hour from the 9 p.m. mark set during the first summer of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Realtors Oppose ‘Open House’ Sign Ordinance

JACKSON – An ordinance that would require someone selling a home to get a survey and pay a fee to have an open house sign on their property was tabled during a recent council meeting.

The ordinance prompted a number of people, most being non-residents involved in the realty business, to come to the podium to thank the governing body for tabling the measure.
