in Toms River News

The clock is ticking if you’re looking to get in on some Halloween fun.

My wife and I were just talking yesterday as we took a walk down the boardwalk that not only did October fly by, but we did next to nothing to celebrate the Halloween season.

It was kind of a sad realization, we usually decorate our apartment, carve pumpkins, and visit some farms for fall fests!

Yum! The Best Sliders in New Jersey are Maybe the Best in America

in Toms River News

A fond memory I have of sliders goes back to when my son Zach was little, we would go on weekends and get a “crave case” at White Castle. We would stay up late and watch movies and SNL and enjoy the onions and slide ’em right down lol it is a fantastic memory and we both enjoyed those “slider” weekends.

Sliders have always been popular here in New Jersey, so no surprise we have one of the best places for a slider here in the Garden State. We do have White Castle, but they are not the restaurant highlighted today. This “burger” joint is in Plainfield and is highlighted as possibly the best in the United States! Yes in all of America.

Mortgages in Walmart – what’s behind the relationship?

in Toms River News

Lenders One Cooperative has announced the opening of its first three mortgage lender in-store branch locations at select Walmart stores in Florida and New Jersey.

The cooperative is a national alliance of independent mortgage bankers, banks and credit unions and managed by a subsidiary of Altisource Portfolio Solutions SA. The initial launch is part of Lender One’s nationwide initiative to offer prospective homebuyers access to mortgage origination solutions where they shop within their community, company officials explained.

Mortgage Professional America spoke to Justin Demola (pictured), CMB and president of Lenders One, to secure more details about the arrangement. “There really is no other big-box mortgage opportunity other than Walmart today,” Demola said during a telephone interview. “Costco closed their program down, Amazon never launched anything. Walmart is the only opportunity of its kind in the industry currently.”
