On a nice summer evening, there are some really sweet ice cream and Italian ice shops in Ocean County and Monmouth County that are truly go to spots for a heavenly treat.

For the most part, when I got out, I want to try some out of the box type ice cream flavors, stuff you don’t normally see out there.

Although, my favorite is chocolate marshmallow.

Toms River North quarterback Micah Ford, the reigning NJ.com Player of the Year, confirmed Tuesday that he plans to continue his football career at Stanford University.

Ford broke the news on his personal Twitter account earlier in the day. The tweet, in which Ford wrote “110 percent committed,” shows him wearing a white Stanford jersey.

New Shopping Center Planned On New Hamphire Avenue Near Busy Lakewood-Toms River Border

Traffic in the area of New Hampshire Avenue between Locust Street and Route 70 is about to get worse. That news comes as a developer is planning to build a shopping near the busy Lakewood-Toms River border.

Originally reported by FAA News, out of Lakewood, the 24,000 square foot plaza will have 14 retail stores and 128 parking spaces with access to the plaza from New Hampshire Avenue.

The plaza is permitted under current zoning regulations.

How much do you love a great grilled cheese? Not only does New Jersey have some of the best places to get grilled cheese, we also have the perfect complement to this incredible sandwich: Campbell’s soup, which is also made here.

Some of my best memories are having grilled cheese with tomato soup after coming in from playing in the snow on a day off from school.

Making grilled cheese is one of the easiest things to do, I would butter both sides of white bread with American cheese in the middle and place it in the frying pan until golden brown. If you add bacon, it would be what is called “The Happy Waitress” sandwich or tomato.
