New Jersey ONLY Drive-In Theatre Is Open! See What’s Playing

It may be a bit of a drive, but if you want to experience New Jersey’s only “real” drive-in theatre then you want to head to the Delsea Drive-In which is New Jersey’s only Drive-In and it’s now open

The Delsea Drive-In in Vineland is open. According to their website, “The Delsea Drive-In was built in 1949, closed in 1987, and reopened in 2004. Located in Vineland, New Jersey, it is New Jersey’s only drive-in movie theatre. It is less than a one hour drive from Atlantic City, Philadelphia, and Delaware. Combining the nostalgia of the drive-in movie theatre with modern technologies and healthier food choices, the Delsea Drive-In offers affordable family fun for all ages.”

When was the last time you went to a true drive-in theatre? It’s been years since I have gone. During college, we had pledges in our fraternity go with us to an all-night drive-in, in West Virginia. Pledges and Bigs stayed up all night. It was a lot of fun and a lot of popcorn! I think we saw Godzilla, Frankenstein, and Dracula. It was a super fright night for the Frat. It was a lot of fun complete with sodas, popcorn, and candy!
